United Way, David A. Howe Public Library to Host Volunteer Fair April 21
Volunteers for the American Red Cross respond to a disaster.
United Way of Cattaraugus & Allegany Counties (UWCAC), in partnership with the David A. Howe Public Library, is hosting a volunteer fair on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the David A. Howe Public Library in Wellsville.
This free event invites community members to explore volunteer opportunities with several local organizations to help make a difference.
With multiple organizations on-site, attendees can meet nonprofit representatives, learn about different ways to get involved, and find a volunteer opportunity that fits their interests, skills, and availability.
“Volunteers are what keep our community thriving,” said Susan McAuley, UWCAC executive director. “We have incredible organizations in our region and so many people who want to give back. The volunteer fair creates a space where those connections can happen, helping people find meaningful ways to get involved.”
The volunteer fair is free and open to all. Attending organizations include:
