United Way Kicks Off 2025 Campaign with $197,375 in Community Grants Already at Work

United Way grant funds have supported local programs such as the Cuba Circulating Library’s Summer Learning Program, with story times, art classes, AKT self-defense, and the Bubbleman (pictured).

The United Way of Cattaraugus & Allegany Counties is proud to announce the launch of its 2025 annual campaign. Each year, the annual campaign fuels dozens of local programs and helps ensure everyone in our region has the opportunity to thrive.

This year’s campaign kicks off with a powerful reminder of what’s possible when our communities come together: $197,375 in community grants have already been awarded for 2025, thanks to the generosity of last year’s donors.

These funds are now supporting 37 local programs that address urgent needs and long-term solutions in the areas of youth opportunity, health, financial security, and community resiliency.

Grants were awarded through a community-driven process, with volunteers from both counties reviewing applications and prioritizing programs that make a strong, local impact.

The 2025 campaign invites individuals, businesses, and organizations to give, advocate, and volunteer. Every gift stays local and supports programs that are vetted, effective, and deeply needed.
