Fraser Grant Process Opens at United Way of Cattaraugus & Allegany Counties

Cathy and Bill Fraser

The United Way of Cattaraugus & Allegany Counties is now accepting applications for its Bill & Cathy Fraser Grant Program, supporting projects that make a difference in Cattaraugus County.

This special grant program, established in 2020, honors the memory of Bill and Cathy Fraser, longtime champions of the United Way mission. Bill Fraser served faithfully for many years on the Board of Directors and Allocations Committee, while Cathy Fraser was a valued member of the United Way staff.

In 2024, $5,500 in Fraser Grant funds were awarded to local organizations meeting critical community needs.

Grants of up to $1,000 are available this year to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, schools, faith-based groups, and emergency services serving Cattaraugus County.

The United Way of Cattaraugus & Allegany Counties brings people together to build strong communities where everyone thrives. They tackle tough challenges and work with private, public, and nonprofit partners to boost education, economic solutions, and health resources.
